Will a seat cover protect against post-run smell in my car?
DriSeats are made without neoprene or terry cloth. Neoprene and terry cloth absorb & trap moisture and causes that locker room smell. The polyester we use dries fast and doesn't hold odor. Your car stays fresh even if you're logging miles every day.
Can I wash my waterproof seat covers?
Yes you can wash DriSeats waterproof seat covers. They wash just like your clothes. Throw them in the washer and the dryer. For best results wash your DriSeats like you wash your mattress protector (lower heat and gentler cycle) and dry it on low heat or air dry. If you just use the regular cycles, don't worry, DriSeats will still hold up and protect your seats just fine.
Do you have waterproof truck seat covers?
Yes we do have waterproof truck seat covers. Our XL DriSeats are designed specifically for large trucks and large suvs. Trucks like F150, Ram, Tundra, Silverado, 1500, and many others. Do you have SUV seat protectors?
Yes we do. Our XL DriSeats are designed specifically for large suvs and large trucks. Large suvs like Tahoe, Expedition, Suburban, Higlander, Yukon, Wagoneer and many others. Our standard DriSeats will fit more small, mid size, and crossover suvs. These suvs usually have seat the same size as most other vehicles and so do not need a larger seat cover. If you are unsure you can measure your seat very quickly to check: Measure from the top of the head rest to the seat + Measure from the front of the seat to the seat back Add them together and if the equal 54" or less then the standard size DriSeat is what you need. If it is greater than 54" you will need an XL DriSeat.
How to wash waterproof seat covers:
With DriSeats car seat towels it is as easy as adding them to your regular wash. That's it. That being said, DriSeats advanced materials are designed to be fast drying and odor resistant so you likely will not have to wash them very often. We designed DriSeats to be thin so they were easy to store (if it's not easy to keep in the car then will you really remember to grab it? I wouldn't) and so that it dries quickly. Thick materials like towels and neoprene hold on to moisture and sweat and take much longer dry. This makes them hold on to smells and they are big and bulky to store.
What are DriSeats made of? Are they washer-safe?
Yes, they are washer and dryer safe! Designed to be flexible and versatile, the DriSeats top layer is made with 100% moister wicking polyester—the soft material used in athletic jerseys. The backing is clear, colorless urethane, completely waterproof, and you can throw yours in the wash to keep it just as clean as your car seats.
Will DriSeats seat towels fit my seats?
Most likely yes! Our waterproof seat covers are designed to fit cars and trucks of all sizes. The DriSeat fits any bucket seat with a traditional seat belt. DriSeats have generous dimensions at 57" x 28" and will cover almost any seat. For the really big truck & SUV seats, we have our XL DriSeats. At 62" x 28" they are perfect for the largest seats.
Measuring: If you are unsure you can measure your seats. Measure from the top of the headrest to the seat & from the back of the seat to the front. If those add up to 54" or less than the regular DriSeats will be fine. Longer than 54" we would recommend getting the XL so there is enough hang over the from of the seat.
Note: DriSeats™ do not fit bench-style seats or if your seatbelt is built into the shoulder of the seat.
Will DriSeats waterproof seat covers damage my seats?
Not at all! We make our car seat covers with soft materials, so they won’t tear or scratch your seats. The DriSeat™ also has a colorless, slip-resistant backing that will never damage your seat—no matter your seat type.
Can I sit on DriSeats with shorts on?
Yes DriSeats waterproof seat towels are very comfortable against the skin. The top material is the same material used a lot of gym shorts so it is soft and comfortable against your skin. The material is also moisture wicking so you do not have to worry about being uncomfortable sitting on DriSeats.
Can I use DriSeats with heated seats?
Absolutely! Made of durable materials, our seat covers can take the heat. Their non-slip backing may even gain traction when heated. I use them with my heated seats in my car all the time. DriSeats are designed to protect seats and never to harm them because if they did, what would be the point?
They stay in place pretty well for temporary covers and seem to do a very good job blocking water from getting through. I’m using them for after surfing to protect the leather seats in my truck. The singles go in very easily. The full width back seat takes some effort. In hindsight I should have gotten single covers for the back seats too since I plan to take them out to dry after getting home and I only need to cover 2 seats in the back. I would only get the full width back seat if you want to cover 3 seats or if you want to leave the cover in longer, or maybe to cover for a dog. I definitely recommend the covers. Also the owner was very responsive and helpful when I was working through what cover to buy
